Dance studios / Music academies / Kids' activities

Content for dance studios and music academies, all season long.

Film classes on a phone from the same corner. Esteban turns that footage into reels and recital recaps on a monthly calendar, using only the students whose families agreed to appear.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, working across Miami-Dade and Broward. Remote editing: from $100 per video. On-location filming is a paid add-on scoped per project; the Local Presence package is from $800 per production day.

What studio content needs to keep going.

Classes are the steady supply

A recital happens a few times a year; classes happen every week. Short clips from class, filmed from the same corner of the room, keep the account active between big events and show parents what a normal session looks like.

Permission before posting

Students are children, so the studio needs to know which families agreed to appear online. The edit uses only approved students, and wide or back-facing shots cover the rest, so a great moment is not lost to one missing form.

Recitals as a highlight and a series

One recital can produce a full recording for families, a highlight of a few minutes and a set of short clips per group. Planning all three before the show means the camera captures what each piece needs.

How does a studio keep posting through the whole season?A filming routine for regular classes, and planning around recitals and enrollment.

How can teachers film classes without interrupting them?

Pick one spot in each room, usually a back corner at chest height, and leave a phone on a small stand there during the last minutes of class, when students run the combination or the piece they have been practising. That is the moment worth filming: the progress, not the warm-up. Keep the lighting consistent and check that the mirror does not show the phone.

Once a month, record a short clip of a teacher explaining what the class is working on, which helps parents understand what they are paying for. Name each file with the class and the date, mark which students are cleared to appear, and share the folder. The edit turns each batch into posts without anyone stopping a lesson.

How should a studio plan content around recitals and enrollment?

Work backwards from the dates that already exist. A few weeks before a new session opens, run reminders with class clips and a teacher introduction for each level. Before a recital, post rehearsal moments that build anticipation without giving away the whole routine. After the show, release the highlight first, then a short clip per group over the following weeks, so every family sees their child's moment.

In the quieter months, progress pieces and behind-the-scenes clips carry the account. The Growth plan holds this calendar, the editing and a monthly report, and the same approach works for martial arts, swim, art or tutoring businesses that run on terms and showcases.

Before you send footage

Questions before a studio sends footage.

What permission does a studio need to post students?

The studio obtains parent or guardian permission under its own policies before sharing identifiable student footage. Send Esteban a list of approved students, or mark which clips are cleared, and the edit uses only those, with wide shots or back-to-camera framing for the rest. The studio decides what is posted and where.

Can Esteban film a recital?

Yes, as a paid add-on scoped per project in Miami-Dade or Broward, depending on the venue, the length of the show and whether the theatre allows filming. The Local Presence package is from $800 per production day, with pre-production, filming and editing. If the studio or a parent already records the show, that footage can be edited remotely on the Starter package, from $100 per video.

What about the music in dance videos?

The studio needs to confirm music rights for each publication channel. It can provide tracks it has approved or choose audio available to its account for that particular use; a family recording and a public clip need separate decisions. Esteban can make alternate audio cuts after the studio confirms the choices.
